I'm asking seriously. Who has ever been in the state of Maine before?
It's my home state, but it's up in a place that unless people want to go there, they usually don't. It's unusual to hear about people coming up here, so...I dunno, I'm curious.
My uncle has a summer house up in York that we tend to use/visit every so often during the summer (duh) for about a week or so, so yeah. I've been there nearly every summer as long as I can remember.

Very awesome! Summer's the best time to visit, honestly. Come winter, you get all kinds of blizzards and shit and you start to want to hibernate like a bear.
I'd like to visit California. It's not Maine, that's the only reason I need. :p

Not at all. Furthest east I've been (and also furthest south) happened to be Washington D.C., and I think the furthest north is... Six Flags Great America and west being Northern Illinois University.
Hey guess what I don't travel much.

I'm actually from Massachusetts originally, family still lives there, so California is pretty new territory for me as well. That being said, I know aaaall about the winters back on that end of the country I'm rather curious as to how cold it (won't) get in these parts, actually.
I'm new to this area as well. I grew up in Michigan and I'm used to the extremely cold winters, so it'll be strange to probably have a winter with almost no snow.
