I would love to try In-N-Out. Granted, I'm nowhere near the West Coast, but I've heard nothing but good things.

Very well priced. Try your burger "animal style", it's really good (but also kinda messy ).

Anyway, I just picked up some Wendy's today (and witnessed a car collision in the process ), and no, we don't have them yet. However, the overall food kinda *smelled* differently, and the fries were definitely salty. I don't know which recipe I'm eating, but it's still good.

The burger was fucking fantastic though.

In-and-out? I could live on that. I always get "animal" style burgers from there.

Maybe its just me, but I still prefer Whataburger to In-N-Out. Still, In-N-Out is quite awesome in its own right.

I've only had their burgers, and fries, both of which are fairly good. The burgers have a whole round (and thick) slice of onion in them.

Haven't seen a Whataburger in eons, unfortunately.

I have never heard of Whataburger either... I only found about In-N-Out when I was visiting California and a friend of mine who had heard of it insisted that I go there.

You guys are quite the lucky bunch, having locally built restaurants and all. I have McDonald's and Sonic. Stupid rural areas...

Anyway, I've been wanting to try the fries myself, but as someone else mentioned, I'm a bit afraid. I liked their old taste a lot, so I'm hoping this isn't a drop in quality. I will remain optimistic though, and trust Wendy's isn't going downhill for an experiment.

For the health cautious, these fries are said to have a ~200mg higher sodium content.

Hmm. Wasn't expecting that much of an increase... I have actually gotten into a habit of eating salt-less fries because of random health fears. I may try it once though... although I probably won't like the extra salt.

I have to admit I always pour salt on french fries anyway... so a higher sodium content doesn't necessarily bother me.

I never understood people who put a lot of salt on fries. Maybe a little bit, but a lot ruins it...

I eat fries with a lot of salt, and I don't use ketchup. I got annoyed when so many fast-food restaurants hid the salt behind the counter so you have to ask for it.

Ketchup depends on the fries, though.

I can't stand Wendy's fries with it, but McDonald's fries are great with it.

To be honest, I can't stand ketchup with any fry. It changes the base taste too much for me to like.

If you don't put a lot of salt on it, then they just taste like soggy potatoes...

I used to put ketchup on fries as well, but recently I have discovered that they're better with mayonnaise...

Oh yeah, mayonnaise on fries is awesome! I've never been a big fan of ketchup. I don't drown them in salt though. A little is a must have, but any more just ruins it.

I usually put salt on my fries and sugar on my Frosted Flakes (okay, I've stopped doing the latter) xD

Wendy's is perhaps my favorite place to go to for a burger, and it's been quite a while (almost a year, actually) since I last went there ... I feel tempted to go sometime again. I miss the Baconator!

I was never a fan of mayonnaise anyway, but I can't really imagine it on fries.
