"nsmb-editor-ds" is a wonderful tool.
We wish to express our gratitude to Mr. dirbaio.
It becomes impossible to start by "DS" and "No$gba" when ROM is edited though it is a question.
Is this a bug of the tool? |

@ray, the editor is made to work on plain DS homebrew, so you can run it on DS phat, lite and DSi if you have a flashcart.
@S, I'm not sure what you mean... The rom hangs with a black screen when you run it? |

I'm sorry by poor English.
It becomes impossible to start Rom when "Nsmb-editor-ds" is used.
DS cannot be started by "Question mark"'s being displayed.
No$gba cannot be started by the following sentences' being displayed.
The following error(s) occured when loading the cartridge:
¥Bad Header Checksum (real gameboy would shutdown)
¥Bad ROM Entrypoint at header [000h]
¥Bad Fixed Value 96h at Header [0B2h] |

It is NSMB.
It becomes impossible to start when editor is used though it is possible to start before editor is used. |

@Luigi987: That's stramge.
One question: Do ROM's edited with NSMB Editor (the computer version) work in R4DS? If so, it's a problem of nsmb-editor-ds...

Yes.
When rom is edited with NSMBe5.1b, it comes to be able to start again. |

This is concerning the NDMBe rev 117 - 130
Why was the 'object positioning' taken out of the level editor?
Just curious, because that feature is very handy. Would there be any chance of adding that feature back into future revisions?
Thanks! |

What do you mean? The Object x/y position fields in the left panel?
Did you find that handy?
LOL... I never used it, and it was just taking away screen space...
Well, i was wrong, I'll put it back soon...
Just curious, what were you using it for? I find it much simpler to drag the objects around |

Actually, you don't need to put it back in of you don't want to. I was able to put it in myself.
I used it to see the dimensions of my objects I was using, which helps when your recreating levels from a previous game. It just made editing quicker.
---------
Edit: While going through the editor I found a bug concerning the 'cheep cheep' sprite. When "Green (chases Mario)" is selected for the type, its actually the normal orange cheep cheep. and when "Jumping" is selected, its the green cheep cheep. Also when you change the type of cheep cheep, the color of it doesn't change in the editor. |

Anyways, i'll put it back because more people might find it useful.
If you're recreating levels from other games, check out the bg feature. It allows you to load an image and display it behind the level you're editing, so you can use it as a guide. |

In rev 130, there is a bug in "TilesetObjectEditor.Designer.cs" Line: 58
((System.ComponentModel.ISupportInitialize)(this.splitContainer1)).BeginInit()
Saying, "Unable to cast object of type 'System.Windows.Forms.SplitContainer' to type 'System.ComponentModel.ISupportInitialize'."
This happens when you try to open up a tileset. |

| Is it possible to add a feature so that I can import a single object and assign it as number? I have successfully got a full tileset in. But I can't get a single object in place as far as I can tell. I am trying to add a lot of outside tiles. Or, if there is anything that can make this easier to edit, import, and add foreign tiles. |
