I think a lot of times, if the bot is down, people won't bother checking Jul because they think that there are no posts

Mine just usually tends to fluctuate, bot or not. Of course, if the bot creates more... then I post more, seeing as there's more to respond to.

It's not my fault the board has been dead all month and I just couldn't stand it anymore. I mean, I noticed at 11:20pm that there were only 90+ posts for the day.

I still don't get how people feel the board is 'dead'; once upon a time we competed with Board 2, but now the numbers aren't even relevant. Therefore, deadness may occur, but doesn't seem to indicate anything more than people being a bit more careful before they post. If that's a bad thing, then I am confused.

Seriously, if we were getting 30 posts per day, I could understand... but we're definitely thriving, still, and as far as I can tell we aren't going to shut down anytime soon.
