You know how videos on YouTube are often deleted due to super stupid copyright?

Well, Sony decided to upload a German advertisement for their new Bravia 3D televisions to YouTube on their German channel.

Then, apparently the copyright department of Sony found this video and locked it so it's available in the US only.



Whoops.

This is now a source of constant laughter among the German community.

Sony, Youtube, copyright stupidity. Why is this about as surprising as the sun rising in the morning?

Sony filed a claim against one of my videos once. Apparently I'd gone and used their music without permission. Problem? The video had no sound at all. (For that matter, it was footage from Mario Kart, so absolutely nothing Sony-related in it.) Even sillier is it did get pulled for nearly an hour.
