My grandmother would get scared on Halloween and not give out candy either
My parents' house was often the house to hit later on, as they'd give out full-sized candy bars.
Of course, in that little village they'd usually only get like 30 kids a night. Not recommended in the city unless you have the dough. ____________________

Candy is in the house. I'm still putting money on no kids showing up however. We could hang streamers and balloons and have creepy music playing in the front yard and we wouldn't get anyone.

Yeah, we're giving out candy here tomorrow. Rather, I'm giving out candy here. Fucking hate that job.

More for me.

I didn't even notice it was Halloween yesterday, not a single kid came... I've also been too busy studying for midterms like to go buy candy so they would've left empty handed. xD
I realized it was Halloween when someone showed me this video late last night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INsSU8Jnx-4&feature=player_embedded#!

 | Lots of people came by here.
Of course, the moment my mother sees a group of "older kids" (who knows, i didn't see them) out she's all "oh my god no close the door!!!!!!!!!! they're too old " She's also really for fining older kids... if something like that ever came into effect here, I'd just not give any candy out at all.
If the candy hadn't been put away by the time I got back (I was upstairs), I'd have turned things back on and given some to them.

My argument on that is that if you're going to be trick or treating as a teenager/young adult... you'd better have a damn good costume on. I'd reward effort, but don't toss on a white tablecloth and say you're a ghost.

Apparently a lot of kids showed up back home. My mom had to dip into the backup candy reserve. Though at some point, the kids arriving were just teens, not even in costume. They just showed up at the door holding out their hands.

And those are the ones I wouldn't give candy to. You're old enough; put in some effort.

I'd have been a bit depressed if this happened to me. Chocolate's fine, but I'm not crazy about it.

When it comes to having a large pile of candy, variety is crucial. Otherwise I feel like I'd get tired of the same thing over and over...

Even if it's just different types of M&Ms, actually. I get the feeling that a bowl of different types mixed together would be pretty interesting.
