You can play singleplayer without a GBA. When you're just using a GC controller, the GBA areas appear over top of the main screen.

$29.99? When you count the CD and booklet, it suddenly seems quite worthwhile.

Hell, I'd just count the SMAS port as a little bonus instead of the CD and book.

Apparently there's really nothing on the disc other than SMAS. I was hoping they'd have some sort of info section or artwork on the disc at the very least. :\ I'll still buy it for the collector aspect.

Game's also compatible with the Wii Remote by itself, while almost (if not) all SNES VC games are not.

I'll get it for the collector's part and the fact it's a neat little things Nintendo is doing for the 25th. I wonder if they'll do special things for 25th Zelda and Metroid. Granted, neither of those is as iconic as Mario but they're still worth something.

What I'd really like is a complete Mario Kart remake, with all the tracks from SMK, MK64, Double Dash, and Super Circuit, as well as a configurable item list that includes options to make them less common, turn off items entirely, and use game-specific lists and item variants (the more reasonable MK64 Blue Shell instead of that fucking GC+ blue shell for example).

It'll never happen, but that's the remake I want.

I could easily see them just porting the collection from GameCube over while adding LttP and fixing the Majora's Mask port. GB games wouldn't be on there because the 3DS will be coming out around the same time.

Ok, does anyone else play SMW hacks on their Wii, and has anyone else been having issues with the sound? I haven't played any in a while, and when I went to try a new one, the sound was glitchy. I tried hacks that I have played through entirely before without issues, and they all had glitched sound. It seems like the only ones having trouble are the ones with custom music though, but I can't figure out what messing it up to save my life. I tried downgrading to older versions of the emulator, but nothing's working. I think it has something to do with ios58 since that's really the only thing that has changed.
