There are some cars in my area with crazy-awesome custom decals & paint jobs. Here are my favorites from the area(sorry, no pics):

I've seen two cars, one with giant Autobots and Decepticon logos on the doors and hood.

There's a car that used to be parked a couple blocks from my apartment with a custom MISFITS paint job.

I saw a car on the interstate a few weeks ago with a professional quality Planet Express logo on the side and shitty decals on the back bumper that said WW[Bat Sillhoute]D?

My personal favorite is this one I saw at the grocery store the other day that looked like the crazy black dude behind the wheel did it himself with house paint: the whole car was smurf-blue with "POPPA SMURF" written down the side in big red block letters.

Any crazy vehicles like this in your area?

I've seen one with the number plate 1337357 around a few times.

Paulguy's Post configuration
I saw someone with a really badly drawn US flag on their old pickup truck... no, I don't live in the south.

A little bit away there's a car that is the front-end of 2 different cars attached to each other. I don't know what it's like inside, but I'm pretty sure it drives.

I saw one where the front plate was a fake plate from Nunavut (number 000).

Here they don't require front plates, so some of them have fake plates from Alaska and Europe. I wouldn't mind having one from Japan, just for the looks... haven't seen any Asian ones myself.

Las Vegas is the land of custom plates. We have to have a record of custom license plates per capita or something. You can't go a block down the road without someone having one. Anything from football and sports to personal love messages and stupid stuff you can't understand. My father-in-law's plates used to be IXCAV8, meaing "I excavate" since he works for... you guessed it: An excavation company. Before we were married, my mother-in-law's plate was "CODENIC" meaning Codee & Nicole, her 2 daughters.

As far as actual cars, there are loads of junkers turned ricers around here. Unpainted body kits, ugly spoilers, custom import styled tail lights on American cars. I once saw a Hyundai Elantra with a Cadillac logo where the Hyundai H should have been... thats a /facepalm right there.

saw a legit Massachusetts plate (non-vanity) with 1337XD on it before though speaking of vanity plates, I also saw someone from said state with the license plate "MEWTWO"... oddly both sighted around the Marlborough/Worcester area, where nothing cool (almost) ever happens ever

I'm quite happy. Z3R0 0N3 would fit on a number plate quite well

My mom's car has a licence plate of 3TAR800. It's not a personalized plate or anything so I found it strange.

My step-dad had plates in Michigan... they weren't custom either but just a really bad luck of the draw:

LEX 666

My older brothers cracked jokes when he got it saying, "Yup, we knew he was evil" and stuff like that. I was only 10 at the time so I had to have it explained (Lex Luthor, 666, etc).

The "SPY" series in Michigan was apparently sent to the Thumb where we lived. We wanted a SPY plate when it was time to get a new one, but we got SYH instead.

Speaking of SPY plates... who wouldn't want James Bond's Aston Martin?

I'd rather have a DB9. I prefer new cars over old, with the only exception being a 1969 Chevy Camaro SS with an LS9 installed

I've seen a bunch of them before, but they were shaped like a polar bear and said "North-west Territories" on it.

Also yeah, in Canada we're only required to have a single plate either on the front or back I believe.

Yeah, the Nunavut one looked like a polar bear too.

US states vary; some require front and back plates, others only back plates.

They probably do that so then their residents cannot have custom plates. It's silly. :/

Don't all Eurozone members use the same style of plate now, basically? Of course, here in the United States and also in Canada, plates look very different from state to state. =)

I think that having 2 plates is better so that cars can be identified by plate no matter which end of the car you look at.

Then again, I once had the experience of trying to report a car used by some drug dealers, and I had to get around to the back of the car as the morons were driving it around oddly and in reverse and such to try to thwart me.
