Ah, hello hello, just thought you guys would want to know this big ol' fire just happened and burned down a nearby auto garage. Anyway, since a picture is a thousand words, here's two thousand words.

Luckily, those firemen put it out in 15 minutes flat.

Simplicity v1.1
I just have this eerie flashback now of the time I had a Probe and that sucker's fuel pump went bad without me knowing. A fuse was blown and was arcing electricity each turn of the key. Literally, a five-gallon gas bomb ready to ignite.

Scared the piss out of the mechanic that worked on it, that's for sure, since it would've resulted in those pics or worse.

Daily Cycle II ~ 3100
The only fire-related incidents I know of are a wildfile several miles (like, hundred-plus) spewing ash all the way to my high school, and my sister's hair igniting when she leaned over a candle.

(Okay, not igniting, but more of a minor burn that was put out in seconds)

No fire-related incidents near me, thankfully, but with the ongoing drought the chance probably becomes ever more likely by the day... I did see fire trucks parked around an apartment building within walking distance of my house the other day, but I don't know if anything serious happened... (I didn't see anything dramatic like flames pouring out of upper-story windows)

There was a fire back when we lived at another house. It was supposedly set by the father, who had a bit of a mental problem.

Needless to say, the surrounding area was drenched in wonderful smoke. The fire was also coming out of the house, and it was hueg. It was soaring up high, so I got a little worried.

There was also one in the same mobile home park we live in now -- at least ten years ago. We were living right next to the house that was on fire; we were [groggily] evacuated and went to a relative's house for the night.

About two years ago, or something, a house with two apartments burnt down just down the road from where me and my parents used to live. Some of my parents friends were neighbours to that house.

And even further back (I couldn't have been more then 8 at the time), an entire row of maybe 5 or 6 houses (don't remember how many there were), caught fire and almost burnt down. What was left had to be demolished anyway. I was asleep when it happened, but my parents could hear, see and smell the fire from our little apartment.

Where I live now I think it's more likely to drown then to get caught in a fire.

Two months ago...

Had those large silos been full of gas, this could have turned out really, really bad.

I remember two 9 year olds thought it would be funny to light a hot dog on fire during a drought. There are alot of feilds filled with tall dead plants in my area so it can be very fire prone. They never did light the hot dog, but the feild cuaght on fire instantly. nobody got hurt, and the fire was put out but the threat of brush fires scares the crap out of me now.
