I second this motion, go see it now! I didn't see 3D either, but now I want to. We had our 16 month with us and he won't keep the glasses on. Next time it'll be just mommy and daddy and Aiden can stay with grandma and grandpa.

I haven't liked an animated film this much as an adult ever. Its such a great movie. Go! Now!

It's an enigma
----------------------------------------------------
Thirded.

I wound up seeing it in 3D. What's nice is that the 3D isnt gimmicky in any sense, or overdone. It's just nice visual flair that adds a little depth to what you're seeing.

As for the movie itself... at the end it just made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside without being overly gushy. It's lighthearted while still being serious, humorous at points and very well rounded, despite seeming a little short.

Definitely worth seeing

Finally someone who is interested by this movie.
Something make me think that those characters are nice (well especially the "final boss" (ooops spoiler))
That girl i don't remember the name reminds me a classmate (a goose) i had in the first year of superior school, but the one in DragonTrainer (or How to train your dragon, but in Italy is DragonTrainer) is less stupid, i hope. I had a dream where she was replacing Sonic The Hedgehog, ahah.

Well, if i remember correctly, the Toothless was designed by the same author of Stitch, true?

Yep. Many people are saying that the two characters look too similar.

Now that you mention it, they have some similar features but I still like Toothless better. The main similarity is the wide mouth and the teeth:

I didn't know this until after I saw the movie, but it is actually based on a kids book series from 2003. How to Train Your Dragon. It has the same characters, but a slightly different plot. It sounds like an interesting read, albeit a children's novel, but I like simple books sometimes. Reading only grown up stuff makes you feel... well, more grown up.

We got the bluray and DVD, the bluray so we can watch it on the big TV and the DVD so my son can watch it in our room. Also so I can convert the DVD to my iPhone It is a really great movie. My son loves it, he just stops and sits there to watch it.
