The old ones are the incandescent bulbs that tend to burn out really quickly. I've had most fluorescent bulbs last for years, and they use about 1/4 of the watts for the same light intensity, so I find them the better buy

The old bulbs came with the apartment.

I ate some really good ceaser salad dressing and I feel slightly drunk. I don't know the brand of the dressing because the bottle is in the trash can upstairs.

No, these light bulbs I'm referring to are incandescent. I wish I knew who made them, I'd like some good bulbs to use on dimmer switches.

On the topic of fluorescent, there are a couple of Philips Universal bulbs in my garage that have lasted for nearly 15 years. Other bulbs in the garage have burned out and been replaced multiple times. My conclusion? Don't buy Greenlite.

You know what's funny? Some people have said that by the time incandescents are phased out, LED bulbs will have already dropped in price enough to replace both incandescent and CFL bulbs. xD

I can understand why some people want to wait for LED... although CFL bulbs are safe, as long as they're not broken (remember, there's mercury in those... highly toxic metal) =)

oh wait, I lost all of my old layout codes when my old external went dead on me. It's still in the freezer, by the way.

Might have one over at VGG that I could use.
