So this was on one of the movie channels last night. I was perusing through trying to find something to watch and this showed up. I hadn't seen it in a long time (think 6-7 years) so I decided to watch it. I caught it only a few minutes in.

I can't believe how incredibly cheesy this movie was but for 1997 the graphics and cinematography we're actually really good. The dialogue and plot were like something out of a Syfy made for TV movie, but the special effects were actually quite good for its time.

Its funny how many similarities there are between this movie and StarCraft. Since this was out a whole year before the game, you wonder if there was some inspiration drawn from the movie. Anyone else enjoy this movie?

I know there are a few sequels and I saw about 10 minutes of one. It was too cheesy to watch but I may have to revisit them. Lets see if they're on Netflix.
