I do too, actually.

Funny because when I first joined, I didn't like the n00b stamps because I thought they were serious and hateful. Then, I grew fond of them, and then they vanished.

IIRC, MM88 didn't usually use the n00b stamps. His preferred tools are "Close Thread" and "Delete Post".

A n00b stamp would go over your username (on the top-left of your post), and was basically a red stamp that said "n00b" on it. =P

Basically, I have three reasons.

1. Criticism is far more constructive if it can elaborate on what was done wrong and why it's wrong in the first place.

2. I've seen it bring out the worst in high and low quality members alike.

3. It was meant to be a joke, but it was hardly treated as such by the time of its removal.

It was fun while it lasted, but its days are no more.
