That's not gonna run TF2 unless it's a very expensive, high end laptop.

Doesn't help that TF2 is far more expensive computationally than other source games. I'm on a Radeon HD 3650 and I can barely run TF2.

Yeah, it only runs smoothly if you're packing something at least as strong as my Radeon HD4550 512MB PCI-e.

Also the fish is my new favorite weapon.

The Sydney Sleeper is cool, but you have to wait for it to charge up the Jarate before it takes effect.

My Huntsman is named "Fourth Apocalypse" and my spy fedora is called "Tricky Trilby". Now I'll just have to wait to get some more name tags... Jarate to "Lemonade", anyone?

I didn't really like any of the new polycount weapons, except for The Bushwhacka.

The Sydney Sleeper rules once you get over the fact that you don't need headshots to kill. Shooting Heavies that are under fire are great. With the full gear if I had it I wouldn't have to worry about Spies or Snipers that much.

And the Degreaser is getting a LOT of positive feedback, considering you can set aflame enemies and then Axtinguish them faster.

We had a lengthy discussion on a server about how the Sydney Sleeper is actually far more better than the normal rifle, since it promotes team-play far more and requires a little less skill. Battallion's Backup is great in Payload, The Black Box is awesome as well, but I still prefer using most of the old weapons over these new choices.

I chose The Bushwhacka over a normal kukri due to easier close-combat and if a pyro gets near me, I'm already dead

Yes, every pyro I've seen is using a Degreaser now. It's a powerful combo.

The big thing I'm noticing with the Sydney Sleeper is that you Jarate from a distance, and most people generally run away due to them about to assault an entire team of players with a Heavy/Medic combo.

Then I snipe them because they don't know where I'm at.

I still don't understand why people intentionally nerf themselves so hard. Backburner is worse than both the alternatives in a huge way :|

It's only marginally more palatable than the Razorback.

Also

New spy gear is cool but hard to use.

It all depends on how you use it, really. I's especially useful on modes like Attack and Defend when the enemy attackers don't realize that there is a path that takes the defenders right behind them...

Now that I have my own debit card, I'm considering buying TF2 on Steam. Is it worth it?

...but you can do that with the Flamethrower/Degreaser just as well and you're not limited to only attacking from behind because the airblast makes frontal attacks doable, and you're not an insta-lose against Soldiers/Demomen.

Pyro Beanie. D:

Oh well, at least got a pot for soldier and toque for heavy. I've also bought a large batch of keys, so if anyone has those excess boxes...
