This definitely looks more interesting than the shitty Social Network movie. I couldn't possible elaborate on how much of a Star Wars fan I am... you really have no idea, so bring it on even if it is one episode per year! I'm really excited about this.

Awesome... I've always been a big fan of Star Wars for the longest time. Now I really want to see the 3D movies. =D

Side note, I remember when there was a Star Wars Telnet thing years ago... I remember watching it on my old Windows 98 machine =P

I'll probably go see SW/ESW/RotJ again, just like I did with the previous 'updated' versions... but I'm still glad I have the Limited Edition DVDs with the original versions on them.

(...waiting for the technology that actually projects the movie in 3D around you (not interactive, though...). Probably be fun, with the original trilogy.

)

I didn't think the telnet version ever went away, but I keep forgetting the command. You could always try using VLC to view the DVDs in ASCII mode, too, I suppose.

Also, I don't get why they remake the Star Wars movies all the time, sure, they are great films but, yeah, I don't know.

They're not remakes, they're just slight retellings.

Really, they're mostly just edited rereleases; they know there are fans out there that'll buy the releases, so...

Disney does something similar, though they don't alter the content of their movies as much - they'll just pull the old movies from the vault, re-master them for the new media of the day, and loose them onto the market for a limited time.
