So, I was poking around in Robotrek using vSNES, and found some interesting stuff...

Some kind of filler graphic. According to a friend, that Japanese translates to "Aki", or "Empty". Fitting.

Various sprites of the Meta Crab. I don't recall all of these having been used, particularly those strange-looking side-view sprites. (The palette here is wrong, BTW. If these turn out to be unused, I'll re-rip them with the proper palette.)

The Mamurana doll seen in Count Prinky's mansion. I'm not sure she even *moves*, much less uses all these frames of animation...

And I have no idea what this... thing... is. It looks like a spinning cat head, and it was mixed in with various monster sprites, so it's likely a part of an enemy... but I don't recall seeing any cat-like monsters.

I'll keep searching for more stuff. I'd like some sort of confirmation before I add them to TCRF, though. Also, forgive the image-linking to the wiki; I don't have any webspace at the moment. They'll be deleted/modified if they turn out to be unused.

I don't really see why you would think that linking to wiki images here is a bad thing, better to have them on the wiki and archived than on ImageShack or anywhere else and forgotten about/deleted...

And yeah, that seems to turn up pretty often. Not as often as ye olde × though, but still pretty often.

Being a cat lover who gets all giddy whenever I see a cute kitty in a video game, I think I'd remember seeing that robot cat head if it was used.

There is a part where four Mamurana dolls appear inside the bell tower and circle the room, causing you to get pushed back out the door, right before you walk back in to fight them as the Mamurana Butterfly boss, but I can't remember if they used all of those sprites or not.

All right. I put the cat head and the filler graphic (which is definitely unused) on the site. I'll need to check the Meta Crab and Mamurana sprites more, though.
