At first I thought the story was referring to the Segway inventor, Dean Kamen, but then I read further that it was the man who loved Segways so much that he bought the company. Not any less tragic for the loss of life, though.

Seriously--I guess it's good he died doing what he loved, instead of by horrible disease, but those things just don't seem safe enough to drive around trails on.
