Blastoids, Torterra, and Mew. I mainly like the reptile Pokemon. My favorite types are Water and Grass, even though I have a well-rounded team.

In terms of regular Pokemon, I'm particularly fond of the Abra evolutionary line with Kadabra being my favorite of the three, mainly because Alakazam isn't quite as visually striking in comparison outside out the Generation 1 sprites. However, this doesn't stop me from evolving it whenever I can. (It's a shame that like so many other Pokemon, their shiny forms aren't particularly interesting, though.)
It's somewhat difficult to say which regular Pokemon is, in fact, my favorite, but I'd say Kadabra is probably the one I'd wind up choosing if I absolutely had to.
In terms of legendary Pokemon, though, Mewtwo is, hands down, my all-time favorite. Mewtwo's combination of appearance, backstory, and ability to battle blow all the other legendary Pokemon's out of the water, in my opinion.
Psychic types have always been my favorite, but way back in Generation 1, there weren't a whole lot to pick from. As such, Kadabra and Mewtwo caught my attention pretty quickly, and I've almost always had one or the other at my side ever since. |

oh god, its Pokemon Staidum models were actually one of the most frightening depictions to date. It wrapped itself in its wings and sort of just...wabbled around in a drunken fashion (too much blood?) before springing open and just raining pure hell down upon your childhood  |

I didn't really realize it until this thread made me think about it, but I guess my favorite Pokémon is Gyarados. I have it in my party in every game I've played, catching Magikarp at the earliest opportunity.
