At midnight the software updater for my laptop started pestering me for a new update. I clicked okay and let it check. I only realized 10 minutes ago that it had frozen up and died. Now no new programs can be started, including system preferences and the updater.

Almost time to go back to work. I really, really hate that place. But I might as well stick it out until at least November so I can get my bonus check. That is, if we get a bonus check. We did last year so I hope we get it again this year.

I'm trying to spend less time online as well. Minus Twitter, that is. And my website.

Still sick.

I can't wait until I get home tonight and play some more Halo Reach. Might might use some of my money to buy this game. I know I'm suppose to be saving up for the NASA tweet-up and Universal, but I can save up another $30 or so.

It's going to be neat seeing a launch for the first time, meeting astronauts, fellow people from Twitter, checking out the KSC and then hitting up Universal the day after Halloween Horror Nights, which means no lives! Gonna check out Hogwarts. But I think that's a separate park, right? I need to look into that.

Enough stalling. Time to get my socks on and head out of here.

I usually get sick in the February to May range. For a while, I got a bad flu every year, until 2006 when I barely got sick then.
