So, I've been putting a whole lot of work into the Cutting Room Floor page for the prototype version of Chrono Trigger, but I've kinda hit a snag. Is there anyone who who could possibly make a Game Genie/PAR code to replace one enemy with another, and one NPC sprite with another one? I'd like to check the game's monsters and sprites, but there doesn't appear to be any easy way for me to do that... I made a feeble attempt earlier at trying to brute-force hack the ROM and a savestate in a hex editor, but it got me nowhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does Temporal Flux work? If so, you could also probably edit the events in rooms that block progress.

Temporal Flux *works* with the prototype, which is how I was able to rip full maps so easily, but unfortunately, it doesn't allow, for whatever reason, the option to *save* changes made to the prototype. (The ability to easily change sprites and monsters was how I was able to get all those unused goodies in the final.) And it doesn't have any sort of visual sprite/enemy editor that I'm aware of, hence why I asked for the codes. Guess I should've explained all that, too.
