I always thought that it should be "The Legend of Link".

Advantages:
- No n00bs calling Link "Zelda"
- Abbreviation is LOL

Disadvantages:
- Zelda is an awesome name
- Now a bit harder to find in the alphabet (although it's usually put under L for Legend anyway).
