The weather here is exactly the same and in fact shows signs of getting hotter.
Then again, I don't know if regular seasons really apply to Florida.

There is definately fall here. It usually begins in september/october, and lasts until... april. By which it is spring for a few weeks, and then turns into summer (most commonly during may), which usually lasts until around mid-september. For being in Norway, this place doesn't have much winter (I heard that on average winter happens every four years, or so.)
It might be true, I have only been living here (here being southern Norways west coast) since august 2006 (what would've been four winters), and I have only seen real winter once. January and February of this year were exceptionally cold for this part of the country, with temperatures around -10/12 degrees Celsius. Usually they're almost always on the plus side of the scale, hence why this place has no real winter, by my definitions.
Temperature here right now is about 12 degrees Celsius. That falls within my definition of 'autumn'. And some trees have started to turn yellow as well, but the most striking feature is that it has begun to rain. For this weekend though, forecast is really good, with sun pretty much all the time, so I'll be sure to enjoy that with hiking in the mountains tomorrow. Gotta enjoy the fine weather when you can, because this town is the rain capitol of Norway. |

Nice.
Not like in Michigan, where it's not unusual to stay under 10°F almost every day for weeks or even months. ____________________

Here, the demented weather waited until it was officially Fall to rocket right back up into the 90s. Before that, it was cool and comfortable. (Yeah, I know - at least it's not past 100 like it was a number of days earlier this summer. But still...)

Virginia is very schizophrenic when it comes to weather patterns. We get everything here....
I just hope there is not going to be a Snowapocalypse this winter. Last year's nearly broke my back. |
