Double checked for accuracy....

What it really means is that 2 people touched my food for no other purpose than to fulfill their sticker-crazed need to sticker EVERYTHING! Keep your hands off my food unless you are making it!

My dad thought that it was silly how Burger King's fries containers have check boxes for "HOT", "FRESH", and "CRISPY" (or whatever). Like, sometimes they make cold, stale, or mushy fries and they don't check the boxes?

Speaking of fries, why don't they double check them? Mine seemed a little light today, not quite filled to the top... I think they gypped me a few fries!

I wish they'd double-check get my double cheeseburger right.

How hard is it to put everything except onions on a burger? Holy shit...

Me too. The thread title is misleading.

I love it when you order something that they don't have official wrappers for, so they throw it in a generic one and put a sticker on it that says "Made just for you". Haha, yeah, I doubt that.

Ever actually worked in fast food? It can be harder than you think. Especially when you work with idiots.

Marketing gimmick, I'm sure. Wouldn't surprise me if the boxes come pre-checked (or they get some pawn to do it when they're not busy), and pre-stickered in this case.

From my experiences working at McDonald's, we'd always sticker them manually. Then again, this was in 2003-2004.

My first job was as a tutor when I was new to college. I've never worked in a place that prepares food

I always loved how the Burger King wrapper has all the icons for the condiments/toppings (onions, ketchup, etc.).

I always hated how NONE of them were ever checked off. :\

When I was younger they used to be checked off, but you know how decay works, especially with something like Burger King.

Double Check just means that now it's shitty going in and shitty going out, if my recent experience as of last night is any indication.

(I didn't really have an option in that case)

If I was still working there, I'd make sure there's some kind of quality control. You at least wouldn't get a fucked-up burger with me around.

The one near my house is very good quality-control wise. Never had an issue there with the food.

Problem is that I had a craving a few weeks ago and the McD's is closed for a few months due to renovations.

The one in my hometown actually got torn down and rebuilt not that long ago.

That left Subway as the only fast food joint in town. They must've been in heaven.
