Sleep on one side of your face for 18 hours. You will get a small pimple invasion, and it will suck.

How the hell did you manage to sleep for 18 hours? I can't even do that after being up for two days.

Not getting at least 5 hours sleep for about 5 days will do it.

Sometimes I get a stiff neck if I sleep on my side at all. It doesn't happen all the time or as much as it once did, but I still try to usually sleep on my back.

I've slept on my arm, causing it to be numb once I wake up.

I've done that with my legs sometimes.

I still remember a day when I woke up in Germany and there were like these dead sacks of flesh where my legs were. It was weird, not being able to move them, having to lift them with my hands. Creepy.

Bonus points if you haven't showered in the last day or so.

When I was little, I'd sleep on my hands and they'd be really numb and kinda painful when I tried to move them. I did this pretty frequently, I guess I just didn't realize or I rolled on them or something. Probably caused some permanent damage. :p

Earlier today I was making some food and I had some spices on my hands and I thought I had cleaned it off well enough, but I rubbed my eye a bit later and HOLY HELL IT WAS SPICY!

I remember sleeping on my side, and basically taking out my left leg like that. Took almost half an hour to make it work right again.

Recently I slept on my side, and it made my left ear stuffy and people sound like robots... it's STILL doing that 5 days later...

I can't stand when this happens. Fortunately, I can't even remember the last time I did it - just that it really sucked.

Best is waking up with the arm numb after sleeping on it in the middle of the night.

You literally have to pick the damn thing up and drag it to where it's supposed to be.

Even better is when you've been laying on it so long, cutting off the blood flow, that you can't feel it at all. You wake up and there's just a big heavy thing laying on top of you, you can't feel or move your arm, you have no idea WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON and you lay there in fear for a couple minutes until your brain wakes up enough to connect the dots, open your eyes and lift the arm off of you.

Yeah, fun.

Once I had a rather eerie experience when I was waking up. I opened my eyes, then closed them for a bit and tried to start moving out of bed. Then, when I opened my eyes again, I hadn't moved! I was worried that everything except my eyelids would be paralysed and I'd die of starvation without being able to contact anyone.

Then, I waited several seconds and I could move again. Whew. I think that's the mechanism that the brain uses to prevent sleepwalking, still oddly being in effect for a short interval after I actually woke up.

Yeah, I've had that kind of thing happen, where I can't move for a moment after waking up. I was never really scared from it, though.

That could be sleep paralysis. I experienced it once a year go. I don't know how it works, but it took a loud noise to be able to undo it. I guess my mind woke up before my body?

I sleep on my back.

I once also got up, asked for water, and drank it, and went to bed, all in my sleep.

Nice. Most I've ever done is 20 hours. I felt drunk afterwards.

<mitchhedberg>I haven't slept for 10 days. Because that would be too long.</mitch>

Night terrors are fucking scary. You're lying there, paralysed, while all sorts of creepy stuff is happening around you.
