Will reveal new services, upgrades this Fall.

I can only hope it succeeds. I desperately want Yahoo to at least avoid being bought out and, at best, maybe begin to eat into Google's market again. They were there first, and they don't do stupid gimmicks about "Do No Evil" or pretend to be the future.

Of course, like Sonic games, it's hard to be gung-ho about this, as Yahoo has repeatedly utterly failed to do anything new or profitable...

Yahoo search is (at least in the US), powered by Bing, interestingly enough.

Yeah... the only difference is that Yahoo engineers have mixed it up a bit. Like they did back when they were powered by Inkitomi (spelled incorrectly?); still, it'd be a lot nicer if they could stand on their own some day...
