2 dpads? Why can't anyone get gaming controls right, ever, with stuff like this?

Maybe it's just so that left- and right-handed people can use it comfortably, like with the Atari Lynx and some old arcade machines.

It looks like there's a complete lack of buttons otherwise, though.

I barely see ay use for it with the controls they show there... and you really COULDN'T do anything beyond Genesis emulation thanks to the lack of buttons... maybe SNES, and if you were really lucky, a couple of N64 games.

What this DOES look like it might do well, however, is being a decent little organizer. Personally, though, I'd forego this thing until they got the buttons and such right.

Yeah... nice powerful system crippled by bad controls? Give it 6 face buttons and an analog stick and you'll have something.

It has a capacitive touch screen so it's not completely useless. I'm not quite sure why the 2 D-Pads myself, but it could be used for buttons on a Playstation or SNES emulator. Up is Triangle, left is square, etc.

What I was more worried about, for example, is the lack of buttons that could be mapped to L, R, Select, or Start on an SNES emulator.

Granted, you could use some of the keyboard keys to do this, but it'd be a massive pain to reach over to them, I'd imagine.

Until you need to press Y+A at the same time.

...Come to think of it, thanks to that, you could barely even do NES emulation.

I really, really hope that's a mockup/prototype image.
