Makes sense for mom to drop the kids off there while going into JC Penney.

Some people might think I'm a sad case. I find kiddy stuff fun, and I'm not interested in typical adult fun like bars, alcohol, sex, and smoking.

Well, look at it this way. In some areas, any or all of the above is typical teenage fun. :\

Yep. I heard a story of a kid getting stuck with a needle in a ball pit and he died.

They make a version of that for adults, but it's a bit stranger--larger soccer-ball shaped versions which can roll down hills. It's kind of extreme and crazy.

I only saw it on that race around the world show, though...

What puzzles me more is what on earth compels people to actually throw that shit in there. I guess you do stupid shit if your brain isn't working right.

"durhur let's throw garbage in there it'll be funny." Humans.

Also, people have done the math, and filling an apartment with playpen balls is surprisingly expensive.

A room like that would be incredible. I wouldn't dare do it to my room, though... stuff would get too buried beneath them.

Oh the chaos that would have ensued from it would have been massive. But it would have been the least aggressive form of payback to the slobs I'd been living with--not to mention it would have been pretty kick-ass

...Yeah, how does that work?

I guess they assume the kids won't stay in long enough to use up all the air.

You'd be surprised how long a small amount of air will last for a person. For example, someone stuck in a coffin would last for a few hours before they'd run out of oxygen.

Seeing that there is much more air in those things than your average coffin, I don't think oxygen is really an issue here.

Still pretty crazy. It does seem like it would be fun. Just one of those things you think about after you're a parent.
