A Pokemon Trainer named Jul has embarked on a Nuzlocke Run in the world of Pokemon Emerald. Jul's first Pokemon, a Mudkip named Red Snifit, managed to defeat Jul's rival, earning Jul a Pokedex and five Pokeballs.
With this newfound ability to catch Pokemon, Jul embarks on a great challenge, where many friends will be made, but some will be lost. Are you willing to join them in this dangerous quest?

So, basically, I'm playing through Pokemon Emerald under the special rules that I can only catch the first Pokemon I meet in every area, and that I have to release any Pokemon that faints. The other gimmick here is that I'm going to name every Pokemon I catch after a member of Jul, and this is where you come in.

You can either sign up for the regular list, where I will name you after the Pokemon I catch on a first come, first serve basis, or you can request something special such as the first fire-type Pokemon I catch. I can make no guarantees about what I will catch, though, so try to make your requests reasonable if you'd like them to be met.
Also, there's a 10 character limit to the names of Pokemon, so if your username exceeds that, make sure you give me an abbreviation you're happy with.

Despite those special conditions, I'll probably be catching quite a few Pokemon, so I'll need at least an equally high number people to sign up. Otherwise, I'll have to start reusing names from dead Pokemon.

Anyway, once a few people sign up, I'll continue my playthough of the game, and I'll make sure to post updates every so often up until I either win the Pokemon League or lose all of my Pokemon trying.

I call dibs on either Makuhita, Psyduck or Phanpy...whichever you run in to first. Golbat works too, I guess. I'd have said Corphish but due to the terms I doubt you'll be doing much town fishing.

Houndour in the safari zone, if you're lucky, and TRS already picked Mudkip so no Torchic.

Good luck finding a Surskit in Emerald they technically aren't found in the wild unless a TV report randomly mentions a swarm of them. That's the only way you'll come across them in Emerald
