It's easy to level up to the first 90 levels. It's the last 10 that kills.

And by then she'd have gotten up to level 250, and by that time I'll say "screw it" and go home.

My Jul level is higher than the highest possible level in Final Fantasy VI, which is where I got my username from I also have many more HP and MP than is possible in FF6.

Low level runs are always useful too.

Makes me use my noodle to avoid dangerous situations in fights.

I don't usually do those, especially in FF6 where the ideal low-level path involves killing Terra near the beginning

I try to avoid much grinding pre-espers in FF6 only because I miss out on the stats boosts.

The level cap will soon be 85, so your level 80 won't be worth that much then.

I can get to the second boss without the use of the 30 man code. I'm proud of that, I guess.

I used to cheat like crazy with the Game Genie. Like, I'd use invincibility codes on pretty much every NES game that had them

It did teach me where the secret stuff was and the level layouts, so I found it easier playing with no cheats in later years
