I've read upon it, and it may have fit in the visual novel. But the anime for me was coming off with a whole another type of spirit entirely and the ending just. Fucking ruined it. I'd still tell people to watch it though, everything before that was fricken A++ amazing to the top, and hell, maybe some will even LIKE that ending. Pssh. ____________________

I've only seen the first episode, and I've been meaning to go and watch the rest.

And as long as it doesn't pull a bullshit nonsensical ending like Higurashi Kai did, it will be fine (They did not need that part beyond the credits, it doesn't make any sense even for Higurashi.) I'm glad the true end OAV came out for that one :/
