Does anyone know a way to burn a DVD-Player compatible DVD that can read a PDF? My real life friend had a computer explode, and he wants something besides movies in order to distract him while he waits.

So yeah, odd request, but if anyone has heard of anything, let me know.

Two options I found:

1. Convert the PDFs into JPGs and most modern DVD players will play them as a slide show.

2. Convert the PDFs into power point presentations and then make a presentation movie that burns to a DVD.

You can also probably convert all the images to one of those image galleries you see on some DVDs. I imagine some DVD authoring software can do this. Make sure to scale way up, though, if he's using a CRT and/or composite output. Small text, even if they're readable at 720x480 on a proper monitor will become a blobby, blurry mess, otherwise.
