I'm watching Quantum of Solace right now and it got me thinking about all the different actors that have portrayed the role.

I'm partial to the new Bond for the action. But as a suave Bond, I think Pierce Brosnan is the best. This is due to the fact that I grew up with his version of Bond. I didn't see the older ones until later. But Sean Connery was good as well.

What about you?

I'm also a Pierce Brosnan fan, but shame on me, I haven't really watched many Bond movies outside of Goldeneye. Shame on me.

I've seen bits and pieces of others I can't name though.

Exactly right about Brosnan. He portrays the character's suave attitude and classy yet dangerous aura very well. His mannerisms and accent are spot on (which is good since thats his real accent). I enjoyed his AWOL attitude and adventures in Die Another Day. It was a break from the usual and he went out on his own vendetta. The plot wasn't dynamic or anything but it was a fun story to follow.

But at the bottom of it all, I'm an action movie guy. So the new Bond movies are among my top favorites for the awesome foot and car chases. He does the best job show Bond with a bit more strength and explosiveness, with a little Macgyver thrown in.
