I'm sick of not having a real computer, and I need some suggestions.
I need something that's:
Relatively cheap (but not a piece of crap)
Has wi-fi (duh)
Has at least passable specs
Easy to find

of course how I'll get the money's another matter.

Paulguy's Post configuration
A netbook may not be able to provide "passable" specs based on what you plan to use it for.

We need some more information on what you want to use it for.

I would go with a budget laptop instead. Netbooks get annoying real fast unless you have small fingers. For about $100 you can get a decent enough laptop. If you really want a netbook, I would look for one with an atom processor , 2gb of ram, and a solid state hard drive. A normal hard drive will sVe you money but solid state reduces your power and increases your speed. If you need more storage space then go with normal hard drive.

It all depends on what you're running. Phone apps are designed to run on slower clock speeds and less ram. Try running full fledged programs such as adobe Photoshop or video games on a phone and it wouldn't run. Newer netbooks have faster processors but lack of CD/DVD drives and small keyboards make them limited in their use. They are good for web browsing and simple web games but not serious computing.
