This week's about quality, not quantity. Best release week in a long time as the WiiWare game should be good and the VC game *is* good.

Incoming DSi and DSi XL price drop. Most likely to clear out units before the 3DS hits, and because the Xbox 360 outsold Nintendo handhelds last month, the first time ever.

Hey guys, Im trying to emulate New super mario bros wii on my PC. I am Running NVIDIA GeForce Graphics, and a DirectX Compatible soundcard. However, When I load the ISO, you can hear in-game music and SFX being played but the screen remains yellow. Whats the problem? Is there anything I need to update?

Last week's release seemed a bit better, though I'm only biased because I like Hebereke/Ufouria. I'm actually kind of surprised that it came out on the Virtual Console, to be honest, given its U.S. obscurity, but maybe that's changed 'cause of ROMs and stuff.

I'm still stuck in the past sometimes, admittedly.

Super Mario Collection hits Japan on 10/21.

What is it? Appears to be a Wii port (guessing straight rom + emulator) of Super Mario All-Stars along with a booklet on the history of Mario and a soundtrack CD. Only 2500 yen.

Kirby's Epic Yarn comes out on 10/14 in Japan (10/17 here) so it's a near-simultaneous release.

Rick: Ufouria didn't even get released in North America but it was close; reviews/previews were run in various magazines including Game Players.

I was under the impression that it would be another remake, not just a port of SMAS.

Which would mean SMB1 - World with NSMBWii type graphics.

That would be cool, but I'm assuming it's a straight-up port. If this is the case, porting SMAS+SMW would take the same amount of effort as SMAS and thus any exclusion of SMW would be a concious decision on their part.


I'm curious as to what's on that Soundtrack CD.
