Good to know that there was no fatalities in this either.

And still, though. Freak accidents can happen even under the most careful of circumstances. Was this a bP oil rig? I didn't see.

The article mentions Vermilion, but I don't know if that's the company that owns it or the type of rig or something. Edit: Oh, that's the bay it's located in.


The reports say there wasn't a leak or spill, but there are also reports of a sheen on the water about a mile long. The fire wasn't caused by an explosion but a fire that started at one of the pumps. As mentioned, all 13 workers are safe and accounted for.
