I was just kinda curious if anyone keeps up with the show at all.
Why such a random question about a random show from me that I wouldn't expect you guys to watch? Well, I've never said exactly where I'm from. Soooooo, I can say now that those guys are local celebrities now that the show has been around. Get it yet?
I've only seen bits of it, and I honestly don't get it. Where's the education and learning that's supposed to come out of this? It's just some men yelling at each other.
Pawn Stars at least gives the history and general knowledge behind things that happen to come on the show.

Yeah, that's pretty much my hometown for you. I never exactly said that Maine was interesting, you know. :P
My town's about as interesting as a brick unless you're interested in history or the outdoors or shit like that.

Mainly the reason being is that I know two people from this show.
SMALL WORLD AINT IT
E- Just about every uncle in my family has no teeth in their head. My dad has no teeth due to smoking (Whew, I am safe from that), two uncles has no teeth due to an accident at work (Sure, I did plumbing for two years. But never carpentry or logging), and one other uncle on my mom's side due to the military (I'm not in it)
Not only did I get braces. But I also got a lifetime of dentistry. Only cavities I got were from wearing my braces too long in my back molars. My teeth are white as ice!
Eat that! FUCKERS
E2- I also forgot to mention that having front teeth in the logger industry is a sign of a newbie (Kinda like a greenhorn from Deadliest Catch. Another good show I watch a lot).
In the logging industry. There will be a time and place where something goes wrong. Something always goes wrong. And getting your teeth knocked out is like a medal. A trademark that you have been there and done that.
Final edit- I edited this post multiple times. I made corrections in this post.
I can't stand the fact that the History Channel now has all these stupid ass shows about truckers and loggers. First of all, the show "Ice Road Truckers" wasn't even on an ice road. The scene where a trucker got stuck on the ice was really a couple of feet of mud. The entire show is a lie. How far hath thou fallen History Channel

Yeah, sorry to rise this from its gwave, but if you care, here's a random episode of the show.
Mostly this is so you can see what the show is about, and also maaaaaybe catch some glimpses of my hometown, so you can see how much of a bordeom hole it really is. I haven't watched this episode so I don't know if they have much footage of town on it.

It is kinda neat, but I don't see it as being very historical.
True, but considering some of the neat relics that probably appear on the show, it's at least good enough to legitimately have two consecutive episodes of it.
"probably" because of Comcast being a troll and taking away all out channels to force us to get the digital box AND a more expensive cable package.
