because holy crap my dreams are kinda fucked up.

Aug. 5th, 2010: 3 dreams:

dream no. 1: the fucked up part:
A good friend of mine came over to visit from Chicago, and he was spending the night over. It was pretty late (we were out to an arcade... wait, what, there are none around here) and we were sneaking into the bedroom (the house is very cluttered - i gave him my bed, and i just improvised and picked the floor, had a comfortable setup going with a few extra blankets for myself).

my mother comes in and catches us (take note, this is only a dream, she acts nothing like this in real life and probably actually would not mind this scenario.) getting in this late, and she just climbs onto the bed and starts bitching us both out pretty heavily. my friend (also acts nothing like this part of the dream ... complete turnaround, what on earth) started to cry and such out of extreme depression, my guess is she hit a nerve?

anyway, my mother just whined "oh great not another one" to his sudden depression, i tried to talk her out of it ... but somehow, she managed to kill him and the body completely disappeared (except the head, which vanished a moment later).

Then I proceed to actually wake up. Fucking creepy dreams, I hate them. I'm still kinda wincing and cringing and scared about this dream.

dream no. 2: just unusual:
I head into the bathroom, and all of a sudden it gets extremely crowded around with people from my middle school. I leave without actually doing anything, heading back to a "classroom". Turns out all the desks were shifted and bunches of coloring things placed on them, and a POOL TABLE was where the desks once were... except a weird, very modified table that was shorter.

dream no. 3: kinda cool a bit, actually:
My house was practically a dark, bug-infested spaceship. Another friend of mine was aboard in his room trying to clean the bugs out, and I was just pissed about the lack of power (or light ?? what) and an internet connection. (I think it might have been devin in the room, not sure though)

...So yeah, my mind's weird.

e: my memory fizzed while posting. it was an arcade, actually

Wow, I can't imagine remembering dreams that vividly. I don't dream all that often. When I do and I actually remember it, only parts and flashes come to me. Usually the best part or the weirdest part.

My wife is kind of like you though. She explains her dreams to me and I'm like "How do you remember so much". And then she finishes telling me and I say "You have some really strange dreams."

Two nights ago I had a Doctor Who dream. I don't remember much from it now, but it was with the 10th Doctor, Rose and Donna.

Shame that I can't remember more.

I can't sleep through my alarm


it gets constantly louder for the first five minutes,
and then keeps beeping at max volume for the next hour


although,
I do have a habit of turning it off and going back to sleep

Same here, almost any alarm wakes me up easily. Quiet or loud.

My in-laws have what I call a foghorn alarm clock. And yet I've still heard it going off for 5 minutes before they get up. I don't understand it.
