Also the second t is always small :<<<<<<

It's not that hard.
Also, yes, the Xbox's D-pads are a joke. Though iirc that's mostly because Nintendo and Sony already had the good ones

Bump! Why? Because it's out in the US today! How many here have picked it up/will pick it up very soon? I hope to get it by Friday.
The official site is updated with a very nice albeit intense display of videos. A few things to note, as seen from various parts of the site:
Similar to Fusion, the entire game takes place on a giant ship. The Bottle Ship is divided up into different sections with different ecosystems, with Biosphere being a jungle, Cryosphere being a harsh ice climate, etc.
Power Bombs are in the game, but you have very limited access to them because of how devastatingly powerful they are.
It may have been noted before, but Samus can strafe/dodge out of the way in a split second with her jetpack. She can also counter enemies that hit/grab her.
Rinkas! The little energy rings from Tourian in the first two games are back and in 3D. This really isn't all that important, but I think it's cool.

I picked it up early through a download but still bought it yesterday. Beaten it already and am working through Hard Mode, which is fucking hard because they removed every single expansion. It's cheap hard at this point, with (mini)bosses able to 1 or 2 shot you. Fuck you Ridley i died 30 times or more.
All in all, I'm enjoying the game a lot. It's not the best in the series but it's fun in its own right. The references to old games are great, especially the boss fight ones. I'm glad people here aren't sperging about the game like the guys on SA are. Christ, the amount of hatred towards the japaneseness/B-Sci-Fi movie feel of the plot and cutscenes is enough to be a physically measurable quantity.
I beat the game earlier today and am now trying to get all the expansions. I really love this game. I also like how they brought back a few bosses from the other games. I was even surprised by that extra boss at the end..
At first, I didn't know what it was, but...
made me realize that it was that boss, only giant sized.
I was also surprised to see

Other M is so good, my leg muscles have atrophied. I've only stopped playing because tea is ready I've also acquired the Wave Beam and am now working from a hunch to try to get back to the main sector. At first, I wasn't too sure about it, but after I got the Speed Booster, it felt right
EDIT: Holycrapwow. I'd post more about my current completion, but the spoiler tags work.
EDIT: Finished it Apparently, I can't view my spoiler tags correctly from my machine, but it works on my phone, so:
I was pretty surprised to see . I guess that helps explains it's presence in Fusion. Even with the , I wasn't expecting it. But I wasn't surprised to have to fight it twice though The was pretty difficult, but it gets easier at the second stage. Fighting the was incredibly awesome, but a bit too easy. Team Ninja did a good job. I don't believe that they completely caught the Metroid feel, but it was definately worth the money

And yet, the galaxy is STILL fucked.
I'm playing it and loving it. It's unlike other Metroid games, but that's not a bad thing. My only complaint, though: Samus goes just a little too slow for my liking in the "I can't shoot here" stance. You can still run, silly.
I have no idea how far I am in the game, but I just (re)aquired the Speed Booster and headed back to Sector 2.
Oh, and no random item drops from enemies? This game is tough. Thank goodness for Concentration.

Played it, and it was a great game, even though the controls are hard to get used to, and most of the parts where you have to find something on screen in 1st person is boring (seriously, it took me over 10 minutes to find random brown bugs in one area).
Overall, great game, and it's just like a combination of Super Metroid, fusion, Prime, and Ninja Gaiden.
I have to wonder if Team Ninja will ever have a new Dead or alive game with Samus on the Wii version...
I beat it last night, and I'm doing the item collection now. It feels almost like cheating to have the maps tell you were all the items are, but I'm glad it does.
Edit: And then I got 100%. Only took me a little over 11 hours. I guess the game is kinda short.
