Do you feel old? If so, when did you start to feel that you were old?
I'm 23 and I feel ancient. Probably because most of my online friends are younger than me and I've been an adult for a while, finished college, etc. I started feeling old around 18-19, actually. When I was a kid, I got into a mindset that I would never really grow up and I'd be a child forever. Sometimes, I still try to convince myself that I'm an adult
My Mom turned 40 this year and it made me feel old.
I'm 21. And yeah, I feel old as well. Nice being able to do stuff all legal-like and whatnot. 24 is about the last number that matters for me until I can retire, though. Males get a substantial car-insurance drop about that age, typically regardless of driving record. (Mine is flawless.)
Not just yet. I may be 25, but I still got a bit of youth kickin' around, that's for sure. So long as I act a bit closer to my shoe size, that's what counts.
Hopefully that feeling won't go away anytime soon.

I certainly feel it from time to time, but I certainly know I'm not. Most of the time I just feel like an average 19-year-old, really. (I think it's normal for everyone, really.)
One thing that's bothered me was 30 and 40-year-olds saying they're old. Feeling it is one thing, but I never actually say I am.

I am 21. I have always 'felt' old, regardless of my physical age... I have an old soul, so to speak. Never cared for most things people did my age as a teenager and had nothing in common with them on pop culture things.
Now that I'm older though, I can now relate to people again, since past teenage people are generally agreeable, in my mind.
I feel old when I think about how there are kids on the internet now younger than the Gamecube. And how I was born in the same year as SMB3 in Japan. A nerdy way to think about it, but yes.
And then I realize I'm still in school and it gets worse.

Haha, it's the same here! I'll be turning 24 in a few months. I started working at quite a young age and I've always been more 'serious' and 'enterprising' than most of my friends. I currently have a summer job as a mailman (since I'll be going to Australia in a few weeks for a long time) and I have to pick up corporate mail at companies. One of these companies is the high school I went to when I was 11 - 15 years old. I really felt ancient when I saw all these tiny juveniles walking around when I went to pick up the mail.

I may just be going through this. I'm pretty much the only one in class with no interest in: most of their pop culture, sports, the television, smoking, getting high, and sex.
And I feel a bit old too.
Oh, and I'll be turning 16 soon. That's about the age people thought I am when I talked to them on the internet when I was 11. Wonder if anything changed.

24 here. I don't feel old mentally. I'm still just a kid at heart. I can sit down with a box of Legos and play for hours. I can play video games all day and eat pizza all 3 meals.
I have moments when I realize I'm an adult, like paying bills, caring for my children, going to work, etc. But it doesn't make me feel all that old. I guess maybe because I have 4 older brothers so I always know I'm the youngest. My oldest brother is turning 40 next year and my mom is 60 this year.
