My favourite kind of Ginger Ale would have to be Golden Ginger Ale. I just like the stronger taste of it compared to dry.

In fact, my favourite brand would have to be Sussex. It's locally produced and sold here in Atlantic Canada, so don't expect it to be sold at your local supermarket.

I prefer dry myself but ginger ale is yummy regardless. Very underrated soft drink.

I used to drink Vernors when I lived in Michigan. They don't sell it here, though.

I didn't know there were 2 types of ginger ale I did notice that some tasted different, though.

There's a difference?

I guess dry since I enjoy Canada Dry.

But I mostly drink it if I feel sick and/or I feel like I'm going to throw up.

Exact same here.

heh, in fact, I never drank Ginger Ale because I would only drink it when I was sick, so thusly, I'd feel icky if I drank it when I was well, because it would remind me of being sick.

However, I kicked that habit eventually and started drinking it every once in a while. I never knew there was more than one style of it though, so I'll definitely need to keep my eyes out for the Golden variety.

I drink it if I get a minor stomachache. Case in point, my flight home from Philly to Boston, I got sick from all the traveling. Thank God that ginger ale was on the complimentary beverage list.

I also like it every once in a while, if I can't get something better or lower cal. It's kind of a safer bet.

I never knew there was more than one kind of ginger ale in the first place.

I don't drink ginger ale, I'd rather just have 7-up or Sprite. It just seems too bland to me.

Have you tried Vernors?

It'll burn your face off. Not bland, but I could understand if you didn't like it. :p

They sell Vernors in California? I thought that it was pretty much just a Great Lakes-area beverage

It's either ginger ale or Sprite that I drink if I feel sick. Just depends on what is on hand at the time.

The only ginger ale that I've ever had is dry since Canadian Dry the main brand around where I live. I didn't even know that there was another kind of ginger ale, I thought that the the dry part was just part of the name .
