What are some games that you know totally inside, outside, and upside down?

I don't mean just getting 100% once on your game and calling it good. I mean you could hit that 100% every single time you wanted with your eyes closed and playing with your feet. Either that, or it's a game you can now completely obliterate without trying. Also, you know stuff for it that few others do.

Duke Nukem 64 falls neatly into that category for me. Seems like every time I'd play that game, I'd discover something new I never knew about, even though I already thought I knew it all.

Super Punch Out!! Under 15 seconds for every boxer? Yeah, I'm proud of that.

I also used to be fairly good at Tetris Attack, Goldeneye, and I almost knew where every single item as in Super Metroid, having gotten everything but two missile tanks without looking at an FAQ last time I played.

Yoshi's Island. I know that game by heart and love it to death.

I wish I could say the same about SMB3, but I usually skip levels (and worlds) and still get my butt kicked on some stages. I often forget how to get out of that dang Dark Land fortress.

Hee hee hee. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Rank A on every mission. I keep playing to improve my score/time incrementally. In some cases where an A takes 13000 points my high score is 18000. It has become my game.

I may or may not hold the Roll Away world record speedrun time; it is hard to find people online who care. (Oh god, I forgot the exact time T_T gotta beat it again next time I'm near my playstation)

I know more about King Arthur and the Knights of Justice than any healthy living being should.

I used to think Equinox was a really intimidating game due to the length and difficulty, but I had to play and replay it so much to build the shrine I made for it that I got to know it extremely well. The guide I wrote is so efficient, I can now blow through any of the dungeons in a manner of minutes if I follow them.

Final Fantasy Tactics. This game I know forwards and backwards. Played it plenty of times through and also read the guide book many times. I guess you could say World of Warcraft, too. I know every instance, every boss encounter, every continent. I've been playing it since beta

Off the top of my head, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World, and Banjo Kazooie. There are probably others, but those are definitely the games I've played and enjoyed the most to the point where I have the whole game memorized, and I have done RIDICULOUS shit in them just because it was something else to do and/or a new challenge. I guess you could throw the Donkey Kong Country games in there too, but sometimes I forget secrets in those and I haven't played them in a while.

Guess.
I have done so much in this game I have even found out interesting things. For instance, due to a programming error Kracko can't die from an ice ray. Or even more bizarre things such as the dancing Kirby clones actually having a quite interesting behavior of popping out in stars when attacked even by enemies.

Little Samson too.

I know Tetris Attack very well.

Did a Very Hard runthrough of the story mode and... uh... cleared it without losing once. That was something I never did when I was younger.

When I was young I once played endless for one hour with the score maxed out. (That said, when I played Pokemon Puzzle Challenge I just breezed through Hyper mode.)

But it doesn't count as I never beat Puzzle Mode.
I got stuck back in the day at one of Blargg's puzzles, beat it randomly many years later, and got stuck at Raphael.

What's at the end of it is a mystery.

Metroid: Zero Mission. I know the location of all of the items for 100%. I can also do a lot of the speed tricks and sequence-breaks.

Also, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time. I've completed it, minus some skill points. Every trophy, all RYNO pieces and the Insomniac Museum

Oh yeah, this game too. And Kirby Super Star.

Well, almost. I didn't know about the secret UFO room in 1-1 for the longest time.

I also know Star Fox pretty well, but if I haven't played it in awhile, it would probably take me a few practice runs to beat the third path and to get 100% on everything (except the one level that's glitched that you can't get 100% on).

I honestly don't know if I am that good at any games. I have been thinking for 6 minutes and I can't think of anything.

Maybe I don't see my standards as the same as anyone else would.
But I don't see myself as having really mastered any one game top-down no-surprises-left style yet. I could be close to that for some games, but I'm not saying that I'm there for any of them. Yet. Or I could have all the knowledge of a game but it's all been put on backup memory as I have not played said game in a while...

I dunno. Maybe if I end up sharing some of the knowledge I do have I'll find out I know a lot more than the average. But I doubt it. Most of the time I play a game, beat it, sometimes 100%, sometimes further than that, and that's the end of it. Will just have to see.
