...from my new laptop! As a present for getting awesome GCSE grades, my grandma and grandad bought me a Toshiba Satellite laptop for college, and it is awesome. 2.1GHz Dual Core, 3 gigs of RAM, 320 gig hard-drive and Windows 7. And my dad picked up a copy of Microsoft Office 2010 which is on here. It runs fantastically smooth. Unfortunately, my computer is now outdated by a laptop ¬¬

I love it Brilliant resolution, nice keyboard, very good speakers. Not too heavy; I can pick it up with one hand. Well worth whatever my grandparents paid for it

I have a Gateway laptop. Pretty pleased with it, since it has the 9-key on the side. Only a 15.6" screen at 1366x768 resolution but that seems plenty of space for a smaller screen.

Yours seems like a decent enough rig. Does it have a dedicated video card or integrated?

Most likely integrated, but that doesn't really bother me. This isn't a gaming machine. Chances are, the most graphics-heavy it's going to get is PowerPoint.

I had one of those before I had this one. I got it second-hand, but I didn't have too many fond memories of that thing. Hopefully the newer models are better nowadays though.
