It isn't just the movies either. I was watching an episode of Enterprise earlier and the Enterprise was at Warp 5, fleeing from Suliban cell ships while heading to rendevouz with a Vulcan ship. One of the characters said that the ship was about 600,000 kilometres away.

What? The speed of light is 300,000 kilometres a second, which is Warp 1. They're travelling at Warp 5. By the time they said '6', they would've passed the Vulcan ship by several solar systems. Even if you're going by TOS calculations, it's still 125 times the speed of light.

Oh if you want a lesson in Star Trek plotholes and all around retardedness, watch the reviews by SF Debris. That's just the beginning of Enterprise's shit. Now to be fair, I haven't seen much of Enterprise, but from what I have, I'm not sure I want to see any more. Also check out the reviews for The Q and The Grey and Q2 if you want to see why I agree that Voyager totally ruined the Q.

Now on the whole, I don't COMPLETELY agree with this guy on all things Trek, and most of his stuff I'd say I'm only about 50/50 with, (I definitely don't share his character hate for one). But he does do a good job at pointing out when Star Trek just completely fucks up, and when the writing is completely atrocious. He also makes some good points on the good episodes, so he's worth checking out.
