Interesting thought I had:

If a language, such as Japanese or Hebrew, reads right to left (and top to bottom in the case of Japanese) then do their computers show loading bars starting on the right and fill in towards the left?

Yep, our posts were high for a while, then got lower again.

Apparently, there was an ad for laundry detergent in the Middle East that had a pile of dirty clothes, then a pile of clean clothes, and they were left to right. Middle Easterners, who read right to left, thought that it made clean clothes dirty and din't buy the detergent.

Also, I think Japanese books look backwards to Westerners, like the Magic Book in Zelda 1.

Most of the lower-posting days were around the weekend, too.

I don't know, the whole board seems less active than it was a year ago. A lot of users seem to consider not posting to be a badge of pride or something these days, too Like "Look how little I post! That's awesome that I only post once a month these days!".

I wouldn't worry too much about it. People are still busy.

As for me, I can't seem to log into Jul on my main computer, but I think I just had the wrong pass. I usually go to Jul on the laptop but sometimes my husband wants to use it.

Then I'll just go play a game instead of going online.

Plus been busy with the site that I write for.

And I just didn't feel like posting these past few days and I wasn't even able to get to a computer during most of the day on Friday.

I might change my name for Halloween.

I remember when many of the active users changed their usernames in Halloween of 2002, when I still felt too new and unknown to do so, and after that almost nobody did.
