So, what are some computers that you want? It can be anything, retro or modern. =D

As for me, I want an Amiga 500 and an Amiga 3000 (or 4000), since I've always wanted one, really... also an original 1984 Macintosh (those are hard to come by, sadly =/) and an early Power Mac (probably a 6100 or 7100... would be interesting to see how 68K emulation on early PPC Macs sucked compared to later ones. =P)

My cousin has a Commodore 64, complete with a ton of disks for it... no cartridges though, AFAIK...

Paulguy's Post configuration
I'm good with my current computer, really. I'm also not much of a collector, to be honest. Maybe a Pandora with working wifi, if anything.

A desktop.

Once I move into a more permanent residence in the coming week, I won't really need to have an easily moveable computer, and I'd like something more powerful for its price

I'm more than fine with a Mac mini, an old, slow MacBook Pro for traveling, and an entry-level gaming rig running Windows 7.

Now ... I'd love it if my Windows box had like dual GeForce 680GTXs and 16546657GB RAM and 46578TB of storage but ... yeah. What I have is fine for now.

A 17-inch Core i7 MacBook Pro.

Other than that... maybe something running a Core 2 Quad or a middle-end Phenom II X6. (Yes, I want six because I'm adamant about making things last a while. ) Maybe a GTX 200 or 300 series card, too.

I'm VERY happy with a Core 2 Duo and a 9500GT as it is, though, and this current setup should last me at LEAST a year.

...Would getting a RAM expansion for my DS make it count? I like the idea of running Linux usably on that thing...

I love my C64 setup, 3 disk drives, original monitor, etc - I want to get JiffyDOS + an ethernet card though.

Do want!

Definitely a nice Core i7 extreme machine with quad SLI video cards and a 3 monitor widescreen setup. Or a 40"+ LCD monitor. And Bose speakers.

I used to have a C64 and a C128, some disk drives, monitors, and other stuff. We had some carts, some disks, and even a few cassette tapes.

Ah, the days of middle school, when I actually enjoyed coding and would write programs on paper in school after my work was done.

I don't really need anything in terms of computers.
Now, an iPod touch 4th gen, and a 3DS... Those'd be nice... |3
