I've already gone through Freezeflame and Dusty Dunes and found nothing. However, I did find this little gem in Ghostly Galaxy, which was weakly mentioned on Mariowiki.

For those who don't fully recall the design of the mansion, this low model has three chimneys, a roof where the spikes are, no ledges around the middle, and no large windows down the center.

Edit: I've found two more discoveries, the last discoveries in SMG1. Yep, I've finished going through every model in the game.

Looks like an early version of the switch in Melty Molten that lowers the rock ledge.


And last but not least, the maze cube in Gusty Garden Galaxy is named LavaMazeCubePlanet. You can guess where they originally planned for it to be.

So we can officially say every unused object from SMG1 has been discovered? cool. What I wanna do is find the planets seen in the e3 trailer for SMG2, if nintendo didn't blank them of course.

I plan to get all these discoveries up on the wiki... sometime soonish. By the way, I've identified the use of CometNearbyOrbitSky... it's the title screen. Derp.


Edit: Oh yeah, and another discovery-I-didn't-realize, beta Music Note, complete with wiggling animation. It seems to even predate the first reveal, as the E3 2006 demo used the final music notes.
Edit: Oh, and I just identified one of the Relay Planets I found as one from the E3 demo. It's the one that can be accessed from the pull star path that leads to the peanut planet.
Edit: That grassy version of the Megaleg Moon planet? It's in the demo, too.

Oh. well, I plan to get most, if not all of these things in the game over time. Planets at least, as soon as i figure out how to swap, but I'm getting close. CSK2E (the guy who already swapped the good eggs on youtube) told me that there are about 10 diskgardenplanets i have to swap in order for it to work, however i can only find one and i have yet to receive further information from him.

Swapping the file with PlanetDisk was easy, but it always dumps me into the black hole immediately so there's not much I can explore (I can just tell you, that model looks really, really beta; especially the textures), and when I try to switch it with Anarchy, it always crashes the game...So, yeah :|

I'm not sure if it'd work, but try swapping the file and then using Anarchy to edit the start position of Mario.


Or edit the UseResource file (forgot the exact name), since I /think/ that's what lists all the files that should be loaded. Swapping the planet through Anarchy is probably not working because the file is not loaded.

"Limit" meaning "safe limit". Most modern browsers have no problem with big pages.

I've managed to get the planet to load in Gold Leaf Galaxy (by causing it to load PlanetDisk instead of ReverseKingdomPlanet). It shows up in the little "welcome to the galaxy!" flyover segment, but then crashes Dolphin right before the gameplay is supposed to start.

Skawo did it by swapping the Planet file itself, and he doesn't get a crash, so his method seems to be working better than mine :| It could also be related to a comet being there.. maybe I'll try it on a different galaxy later.
