Shit isn't very appealing to most.

And... I'd post a picture, but you've all seen Cheerios before. Maybe when I get paid I can treat myself to some bologna and post a picture of that after it's been prepared in some original way.

Had a red drink while walking to the bus stop earlier. Might eat some cherry pop-tarts and a blue drink on the way back.

I'm sad that the corner store doesn't stock energy drinks anymore.

Oh well, $.20 drinks are awesome once the taste of cough medicine becomes the norm.

Not always. Sometimes, they'd actually do a successful job at flavoring the cherry stuff.

Well, I always remember cough syrup tasting so bad that I'd spit it out.

My parents usually didn't give me medicine unless it was something serious and we went to a doctor. I just learned to work through the illness and wait it out. To this day, I get mildly surprised at how most people take painkillers so much. In our household, I just had to wait until the pain subsided. Those filled bag thingies you warm in the microwave helped.

I've never really found cough medicine to taste like crap, but rather just odd, especially when mixed with alcohol.

Weird. The cough medicine we had growing up actually tasted rather good. It was orange and very fluid and... kinda tasted like artificial orange.

Well, in many cases, they don't really want the medicine to taste good; they just want to present it as if it tastes good.

As I understand, this is mainly to make kids less resistant to the stuff while simultaneously preventing them from downing a bottle of it in case they find it.
