And I have done nothing since last time, I just went to Johto and walked over it several times without even checking Celadon. My entire team except Bayleef is at level 47, so I am going to change that.

Well, lies, I evolved Beldum to Metang, realized Misdreavous is awesome, trained Kamina the Beedrill, got a Bulbasaur probably named somehting dirty in japanese, got a Ralts, catched Raikou finally, did stuff in the pokethlon, got Jasmine's Steelix, and got a Nincada.
Now I am going to train Golem so it learns Stone Edge already, and then Bayleef and Noctowl before finally waving Johto goodbye forever and actually get to play the rest of the game.

And everyone in the battle frontier are cheaters.

Bill's grandfather gives you one if you show him a Growlithe. Probably in SoulSilver it's a Vulpix.
You can only buy them in the Pokéthlon place.
I'd say have it learn all the moves it can naturally and teach the ones it learns as a Ninetales with that guy at the dragon place. Unless it doesn't learn anything useful.

Status update!

Today I beat Misty, giving me my third Kanto badge and putting me in Celadon City. Here's my current team, new member included:

Chica (Megamium) F Lv. 55
Graveler M Lv. 53
Jelly (Tentacruel) F Lv. 47
Skarmory F Lv. 37
Yoomtah (Jigglypuff) M Lv. 34
Shuckie lol

Yep, I have a Jigglypuff on my team now. I plan to teach him Hyper Voice before he evolves. He had an amazing(ly lucky) victory today, where he took down a Pidgeot 20 levels higher than himself with a critical hit of Roll Out and underestimation (or stupidity) by the trainer.

The second surprising (and dramatic) victory came at the end of the Misty battle. With Meganium at half life, I made the risky move of going in for an attack. I underestimated the speed of Starmie and it hit first with an Ice Beam. It brought me down to 7 HP, whereupon I fired back with FRENZY PLANT. It was a tense and dramatic finish. Hooray!

So, right now I have 7 Kanto badges. Basically I have to:
- Go to Dragon's Den with Silver
- Go fight Blue
- Go fight Lugia

I am however still slightly underleveled for any of those things... I think I'll do the Silver thing first, as you battle him a final time later on, and it will be the best time to evolve Bayleef already.
Also I want to fight Lugia THAT underleveled. I caught Rayquaza in similar conditions in Emerald.

That reminds me, I captured Latios in a rather awesome way. Due of underestimating him, he wiped about my entire team, except for my Level 7 Jirachi. It actually didn't take much damage, and managed to deal enough to chip away his health. Revived Oddish and made it sleep, but it broke free and obliterated it, so I just threw another ball at it as I couldn't do much more and it worked.

Currently battling Latias outside of the Pewter City museum. She is one tough cookie! Thank goodness I have Yoomtah to put it to sleep.

I beat Sabrina and got the Marsh Badge. I want to capture Latias before heading for my next badge.
