If I'm hungry, I get popcorn and a soda. If I'm not hungry, just the soda. I like having something to sip on during the movie.

My wife lately has been wanting hot dogs every time we go. Regal Theaters has 5 mini hot dogs that are really good but they're $7.50! We end up spending more on concession than we do tickets sometimes.

Back when Muvico used to have the delicious pretzels, I would get a nice hot cinammon one. Now, I just get nachos and popcorn if anything. And of corse, I always get an Icee.

Hubby needs a soda, always.

For me, I can do without but having some candy and a slurpe is nice every now and then.

I try to bring my own candy that I got from the store rather than get it at the theater.

We do this regularly when we take the kids. Having a diaper bag helps

I brought in 3 sodas and a bag of food from McDonalds one time. Many theaters have personal sized pizzas on the menu now, but about 9 years ago I heard from a friend who worked at a theater that people would smuggle in whole pizzas somehow. They would leave the boxes just to gloat.

Always have to have a soda. Usually I get a popcorn when I'm with other people, which is almost always. As of right now, I'm working at a movie theatre. We have a big, tank like thing full of popcorn. One time, another employee I know there hid in it for a good hour and scared customers. Pretty damn entertaining.

Where's the "I save my money and eat when I get home" option? When I see a movie, I see a movie period. Even if concessions were free, they'd just be distractions to me. I prefer to forget I'm in a theater for two hours, and completely lose myself in the film. Plus, since now they cost more than the ticket, and I don't even really like them anyway, they can keep their crap. Never liked popcorn, nachos, or hotdogs, and I'm picky with my candy. I don't even get a water or soda since I don't want to risk having to use the bathroom during the film and missing part of it.

Popcorn if I go to the theater that has self-operated butter machines. Beer at any theater that sells it. Pop maybe otherwise, and if I'm hungry, a hot dog.

Though I did once go to a theater that had pretty decent food and waiters that came around. That place was pretty awesome.

I am a cheap bastard when it comes to movie concessions. Usually I will go out to eat before I see the movie so I don't buy the ridiculously overpriced snacks. If I have to bring something with me I will put it in a Macy's bag(if in a mall) or something in that shopping center so that I can sneak it past the movie attendants.

Whenever I go to the movies I always buy a large popcorn and a large coke. At the theater that I go to the benefit of buying a large popcorn or coke is that you get unlimited free refills until the concession stand closes (In fact, you could probably even bring your cup and popcorn bag back the next day and get even more refills if you really wanted to since they don't have any way of telling when you bought it or if you've gotten a refill in the past ).

I absolutely love popcorn at the movie theater but I never buy the concessions because they're too expensive.
