I got my dad a Mico a few years back.

Nintendo Rev sounds better than Wii.

Nintendo Rev sounds like a racecar. Of course.

I thought that when I saw it. Probably one of the best cases in the series .

Yeah, she's getting her own video game on the PS3 where she's a magical girl fighting piracy.

I miss my Sega Gamegear the most. It was my first portable gaming device (even before I got a Gameboy). I remember seeing ads for it where yo ucould plug in an adapter and watch TV on it. My parents never got that for me though. And at 9 years old, I remember all the games being ridiculously hard.

Me too. Been trying to find one locally. Unfortunately, I threw mine away when I was younger.

I don't even remember what happened to mine. We moved so many times that it probably got lost in a box or sold at a garage sale. To this day, I still think Ecco the Dolphin is really hard but I haven't played it since then.

Last time I played Ecco the Dolphin, was a few months ago on that Sega collection game for 360.

My parents didn't trust me with a handheld system when I was younger. I guess they thought I'd lose that expensive Game Boy and the expensive carts. (My parents used to be ridiculously stingy. They've loosened as of late.) They also wouldn't buy me an SNES because it didn't take NES cartridges.

I was like 12 before I got an SNES, and it was almost time for Nintendo to release the GameCube by then. I did get a GBA when it was new. It was my first portable system other than those cheap single-game ones.

We had an N64 when it came out, which is the first console I ever played. We also had two GameBoy Pockets. I still have mine with Metroid II in Then we got the GameCube and PS2 when they were released. The big, black PS2 broke down, so we got rid of it and got a new silver slimline one. During that time, I got a GBA for Christmas. I tried to get a charger for it, like the one for the GameBoy, but it never worked for some reason. Got the DS for another Christmas present when it came out. Then, I think a year later, the Wii came out and I got that for Christmas. Then we picked up the heavy-as-crap XBox 360. Carrying it from the post office down to home was a challenge, considering that it was me and my dad taking it in shifts to carry it . Shortly after that, we got a PS3, completing the current-gen console collection . Then we SOLD the XBox 360 because neither of us played it. My dad picked up an old XBox to play the old games because the XBox 360 emulation sucks so bad. The PS3 and Wii were better in our opinion. Sometime after that, I sold my DS. Afterwards, I managed to get a mint-condition NES from eBay Sometime after THAT, I rebought an XBox 360. Mass Effect, Fable II and Halo 3 consisted of my collection. Then, back onto eBay to get a mint-condition SNES with F-Zero and some crappy tennis game. Super Metroid followed quickly Then I sold the XBox 360 again.

So that's pretty much my entire console history

Oh, the XBox broke and is now taking up space in the attic.

GameGear was my first handheld and my dad had gotten it for me for either my b'day or Xmas. I mostly played Sonic games on it.

Mine was the GBC. I didn't do much other than Tetris DX until I figured out how to get the sword in LA.

...I didn't even know the GBC existed until I got it, actually - I thought the GB Pocket was still the most recent!

I had a Game Gear in the early 90s... got a Game Boy Pocket in 1996 or 1997 as the Game Gear's life started to wind down...

Not yet.

I saw one for sale at this retro gaming store that was a bit too far for me to go to every time I was off.

Shame that they closed up shop.

I had a fair collection of Nintendo Power magazines, but lost them somewhere from one of our moves. I had even submitted a series of 4 envelopes with Pokémon guised as Jedi (this was back when Episode 1 had just come out) but alas they never made it in the magazine. Sucks, because they were pretty cool. I did Pika-wan-Kenobi, Darth Cubone, Char Gon Jinn, and Jiggly Amidala.
